LegacyQuill Agency was founded in 2015 by Waris Gbolagade after witnessing brilliant authors struggle inside traditional publishing houses — not because their books weren't good enough, but because they had no strategic support after the manuscript was finished.
Waris saw the same pattern repeat itself: talented writers with powerful stories being handed a contract or a publishing guide and left to figure out marketing, branding, and audience building entirely on their own. Most failed. Not because they lacked talent, but because publishing and marketing are entirely different skills.
LegacyQuill was built to close that gap. Today, we combine editorial excellence with data-driven marketing to give every author — regardless of whether they're self-publishing or traditionally published — the full-service support that was previously only available to the top 1% of authors.
